We're interested in making accessible games. Originally we thought about creating a chess board for blind players, however we're worried that programming the rules and the mechanisms for moving the chess pieces might be too complicated, and decided to make a labyrinth instead. The labyrinth will be presented in the screen while the user can physically control the movements with knobs and wear a headset to hear sound feedbacks.

Physical component:

Potentiometers as X Y controls?

Would it be more intuitive to use some kind of joystick that has the same spatial directions?

Ideas:

What if we can use sound feedbacks that make users feel like walking in a real maze?
